I have learned to notice the moments that quietly ask to be seen—a particular light, a fleeting gesture, the unexpected beauty in an ordinary place.
I photograph these moments, then linger with them. Sometimes, as I sit with an image, words begin to emerge. I listen for what the moment has to say, allowing a few simple words to take shape as a haiku.
